New York Mets to Retire Carlos Beltran’s No. 15 This Season

Beltran will receive a separate Mets ceremony this season to retire his No. 15, replacing the club’s original plan to induct him into the team Hall of Fame on May 30 alongside Lee Mazzilli and Bobby Valentine. Mike Puma reported the change. Beltran starred for the Mets from 2005 to 2011 and will enter Cooperstown with a Mets logo.
