NFL Confirms Rio de Janeiro Will Host Regular Season Games From 2026

The NFL has announced a multiyear deal to play at least three regular-season games over five years at Rio’s Maracanã Stadium, beginning in 2026. “We could not be more excited to play in one of the world’s most iconic cities,” Commissioner Roger Goodell said. The NFL has played 3 matches in Brazil since 2024, all at São Paulo's Corinthians Arena.
