NFL Considering Allowing Draft Pick Trades Five Years Out

There is growing momentum inside the NFL to expand how far into the future teams can trade draft picks. According to Adam Schefter, some league figures are pushing to allow draft pick trading up to five years out. Currently, NFL rules limit teams to trading picks no more than three years into the future.
