NFL Delivers Best Regular-Season Viewership Since 1989, KC Chiefs Lead Most-Watched Games
The NFL averaged 18.7 million viewers during the 2025 regular season, its best mark since 1989 and the second-highest on record. Viewership rose 10% from 2024, helped by counting viewers watching outside their homes. CBS, NBC, and Prime Video all set records, while Kansas City dominated the most-watched games, including the Thanksgiving Chiefs-Cowboys matchup, averaging 57.23 million viewers.
