NFL Flag National Championship Brings More Than 200 Players to Ottawa

More than 200 young athletes from 21 teams gathered in Ottawa this weekend for the NFL Flag National Tournament at the University of Ottawa. The event featured under-10, under-12, under-14 co-ed and the first-ever under-14 girls division at the national championship. NFL Canada called flag football “the most accessible version of our sport,” while Chargers rookie Akheem Mesidor said the game will only continue to grow.
