NFL Insider Says Teams Prefer to Wait for Brandon Aiyuk’s Release

“He's essentially considered untradeable because of his bloated contract,” ESPN's Jeremy Fowler said of Aiyuk amid his ongoing standoff with the 49ers. Fowler added that teams interested in the receiver, including Washington, Baltimore and Kansas City, are “probably not going to trade for him” and instead will “wait for him to get released.” Aiyuk hasn't played since tearing his ACL and MCL in 2024.
