NFL Proposes Rule Allowing Review Of Unpenalized Flagrant Acts

NFL Competition Committee proposed allowing league personnel to consult on ejecting players for unpenalized “flagrant football or non-football acts.” Officials could intervene before the next snap if they determine a disqualifying act occurred. Current rules only allow review on penalized plays. The proposal follows incidents like an unpenalized hit involving Jobe and Diggs during Super Bowl LX.
