NFL Rules Force Seahawks Buyer Vinod Khosla to Exit 49ers Ownership

Incoming Seahawks owner Vinod Khosla currently owns a minority stake in the 49ers after investing in the franchise last year. Under NFL rules, Khosla must sell his 49ers equity if the Seahawks' $9.6 billion acquisition is approved. Similar ownership paths were followed by Panthers owner David Tepper and Commanders owner Josh Harris before buying their teams.
