NFL’s YouTube Streaming Experiment Delivers Strong Numbers
This year, for the first time ever, the NFL live-streamed a regular-season game [Chiefs vs. Chargers] free on YouTube. As per reports, the stream drew 17.3M global viewers, with 16.2M from the U.S. While that’s up from last year’s paid Peacock opener (14.2M), it's well short of the 24.3M record set on Netflix last Christmas during the Ravens-Texans game.
