NFL Suspends Daron Payne for Punching Amon-Ra St. Brown

The NFL has suspended Commanders DL Payne for one game after he punched Lions’ Amon-Ra St. Brown during Sunday’s 44-22 loss. Payne was ejected in the second quarter after a verbal exchange turned physical. “He retaliated after being punched first,” teammate Javon Kinlaw claimed. St. Brown countered, saying, “I said a little something, nothing crazy, and he decides to swing.”
