NFL To Distribute $542M in Performance-Based Pay To Players

The NFL announced more than $542 million in Performance-Based Pay for the 2025 season, rewarding players based on playing time and salary levels. The collectively bargained program compensates lower-paid players who log heavy snaps. Bears CB Nahshon Wright earned the highest payout at $1,441,397 after playing 97% of defensive snaps, more than doubling his salary.
