NFLPA Fires Craig Jones After Internal Turmoil

The NFLPA fired lead security officer Jones on Feb. 13, a source said, after placing him on administrative leave last month. Jones had questioned former chief strategy officer Tretter in a July 2025 email, writing, “He is the progenitor of this whole tawdry episode. What of him?” The union declined comment, calling it a personnel matter.
