NFLPA Fires Lawyer After She Accused Union of Retaliation Amid DOJ Probe

The NFLPA fired associate general counsel Heather McPhee on Dec. 30, days after she filed a lawsuit accusing the union of retaliation. McPhee had been on paid leave after cooperating with a DOJ investigation into OneTeam Partners. Her suit alleges whistleblower retaliation, gender discrimination, and efforts to shield executive compensation from scrutiny.
