NFLPA's JC Tretter Says World Cup Ends Excuses Against Grass Fields

NFLPA executive director JC Tretter argues the World Cup has proven grass fields are feasible in NFL stadiums that currently use artificial turf. "It's feasible. Now it's really a choice," Tretter said, suggesting cost is the main reason teams continue using turf. He also noted that 92 percent of NFL players prefer playing on grass surfaces.
