NFLPA Says No to 18-Game Regular Season
"Our members have no appetite for a regular-season 18th game," NFLPA interim executive director David White said at the union's annual Super Bowl week news conference. He cited player health and safety concerns that come with a longer regular season. “The 18th game is not casual for us. It's a very serious issue. It's something that comes out of negotiations,” he added.

When asked whether he’s happy in Cincinnati, Burrow said, “Yeah, I am. I think, you know, everybody has bad days, right?” He attributed the exit rumors to his responses in press conferences. “Sometimes, they fall on press conference days… so that’s how it goes sometimes,” Burrow said. The Bengals QB signed a five-year, $275 million deal with the team in 2023.
