Nico Schlotterbeck’s World Cup at Risk After Ankle Injury Blow

BILD reported that doctors strongly suspect Schlotterbeck has a torn ankle ligament. An MRI at Germany’s base will confirm the damage, with his left ankle visibly swollen after substitution. Julian Nagelsmann spoke with the team doctor during recovery training. Germany can't call a replacement, leaving Antonio Rudiger, Waldemar Anton and Malick Thiaw as cover.
