Nike Says It ‘Believes in America’ for World Cup Soccer Push

VP of Soccer Camilo Andrade said Nike sees the U.S.-hosted WC as a chance to “create a spike of interest” and “foster the next generation of footballers.” Nike is pairing product innovation with star-heavy marketing, from Jacquemus collaborations to campaigns featuring Zlatan Ibrahimović, Ronaldinho, Travis Scott and LeBron James, while building “on-ramps” for casual fans, sneakerheads and obsessives across soccer.
