Norm Nixon Says HBO’s Winning Time Misrepresented Him and Misled Viewers

Lakers legend Nixon blasted HBO’s Winning Time, saying it falsely depicted him. “How can I call anybody country?... They had me playing basketball in a fur coat. Never owned a fur coat!” He added, “I didn’t call women b****** and h***. That wasn’t me.” Nixon said viewers outside L.A. “thought that it was a documentary,” misreading the series.
