Novak Djokovic ‘Doing Everything’ To Be Fit For Athens, Says Brother

Djordje Djokovic says Novak is “in a recovery process” and pushing to play the ATP 250 in Athens in early November, his first Greek ATP event since 1994. After illness and leg/back/hip issues in Shanghai and a retirement versus Taylor Fritz at the Six Kings Slam, Novak skipped Paris to focus on rehab. The 24-time major winner aims to compete in Athens before heading to Turin, where he’s qualified for a record-tying 18th ATP Finals.
