Ohio State Players’ 3.4 GPA Helps Ryan Day Earn $100K Bonus
Ohio State coach Ryan Day earned a $100,000 bonus after his team achieved a 3.4 cumulative GPA during the 2025-26 year. The academic milestone doubled his usual payout and marked the third straight year he earned scholastic incentives. The bonus pushed Day’s total seasonal compensation close to $13 million, including a $12.5 million base salary and $450,000 in bonuses.
