Ohio State President Ted Carter Resigns Over ‘Inappropriate Relationship’

Ohio State president Walter “Ted” Carter Jr. resigned after disclosing an “inappropriate relationship” with someone seeking public resources for a personal business venture. The Board of Trustees accepted his resignation Monday after he offered to step down. Carter had led the university for two years and acknowledged he “made a mistake” allowing inappropriate access to Ohio State leadership.
