Ole Miss Nearing Agreement to Reunite with John David Baker

Ole Miss is finalizing a deal to bring back East Carolina OC John David Baker after Ty Howle left for Virginia Tech. Baker, previously Lane Kiffin’s passing-game coordinator and co-OC from 2021–23, spent 2024 running ECU’s offense. New coach Pete Golding also clarified staff roles as Charlie Weis Jr. will still call plays during the Rebels’ College Football Playoff run.
