Packers Are Hiring Jonathan Gannon As DC

Per Adam Schefter, former Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon is close to joining the Green Bay Packers as their new DC, replacing Jeff Hafley. While Gannon's Cardinals defense consistently ranked near the bottom of the league, including 31st in points allowed in 2023 and 29th in 2025, he was stellar as the Eagles' DC in 2022, where his unit finished first in pass defense and sacks.
