Padres’ Jason Adam Stays Positive Despite Ruptured Quad Tendon

Adam was struck on the left knee by a Gunnar Henderson line drive in Monday’s 4-3 loss, ending his season with a ruptured quad tendon. Despite a 1.93 ERA in 70 games, he stayed upbeat and didn't worry about Padres' fate without him: “This bullpen’s so deep, of all the bullpens in the league to not need me, it’s this.”
