Pat Riley Blames Miami’s 2011 Finals Collapse on Lack of Depth

Riley said Miami’s reliance on minimum-contract players left the roster too thin against Dallas in the 2011 Finals. He believes winning Game 2 after building a 15-point lead could have changed the series, but the Heat collapsed and later failed to contain Dirk Nowitzki “at the moment of truth” in Games 4, 5 and 6.
