Pat Riley Says He Weighed Shaquille O'Neal First Thing When He Got to Miami

Riley said the first thing he did when Shaq arrived in Miami was weigh him. “He was 383 at the time and about 14% body fat or more,” Riley told the LeBatard Show. He called him a “380-pound guy,” and said by year’s end he was 323 and 12%, a 60-pound drop during his first Heat season.
