Patrick Mahomes’ $504.75M Extension Leaves Chiefs Near Bottom of NFL Cap Space

His new $504.75 million extension helps keep his current cap hit low, but it also pushes $239.05 million into future years. As a result, Kansas City now ranks 31st in the NFL with a $297.84 million payroll and only $9.78 million in available cap space.
