Patrick Reed’s PGA Tour Path Comes With a Catch

The PGA Tour said Reed has notified officials he wants back. The nine-time winner is seeking reinstatement for the 2027 season via the past champion category. Because he resigned in 2022, he can compete as a non-member starting Aug. 25, 2026, and chase status through the DP World Tour, but he’s ineligible for the Player Equity Program through 2030.
