For the first time since their 2001 Super Bowl run, the Patriots introduced individual players before kickoff, a decision made by former player turned head coach Mike Vrabel. “These guys put a lot into it,” Vrabel said after the 32–13 win over Cleveland. “I wanted to create some energy early.” Quarterback Drake Maye admitted he was nervous, saying he has “literally no swag.”
