Patriots Place Julian Hill on IR

The Patriots placed tight end Julian Hill on injured reserve on Monday, shortly after acquiring AJ Brown from the Eagles. Hill, 25, signed a three-year, $15 million deal this offseason to replace Austin Hooper, but his undisclosed injury ends his season. Third-round rookie Eli Raridon now inherits a larger role. Hill has 33 catches for 288 yards across 45 career games.
