Patriots Promote Zuk Kuhr as Defensive Coordinator

The Patriots officially promoted inside linebackers coach Zak Kuhr to defensive coordinator. After serving as the de facto coordinator during the team’s Super Bowl LX run, Kuhr replaces Terrell Williams, who is moving into a high-ranking staff role after being declared cancer-free. Under Kuhr’s leadership in 2025, New England’s defense ranked fourth in points allowed and surrendered just 26 total points across three AFC playoff victories.
