Patriots Sell 8% Stake at Record $9 Billion Valuation

After the Giants recently sold 10% of their stake at $10B valuation to the Koch Family, Robert Kraft has decided to do the same by selling 8% of the Patriots at a $9B valuation. Billionaire Dean Metropoulus will purchase 5%, while VC firm Sixth Street Partners takes 3%. The $720M deal however needs NFL owners’ approval at the next meeting.
