Paul Goldschmidt, Yankees Agree To $4M Deal With Play-Time Bonuses

Jon Heyman reported Feb. 12 that Goldschmidt is signing with the Yankees for $4 million, plus a player option. The option is for 2026 at $4 million. The deal also includes $500,000 bonuses at 400, 450, 500 and 550 plate appearances, giving Goldschmidt a clear path to boost his earnings if he holds down an everyday role in New York.
