Paul Pierce and Byron Scott Say Loyalty and Lack of Rivalries Are Hurting the NBA

Scott said the NBA is “suffering” because it lacks physicality and player loyalty. “Fans are tired of guys jumping team to team,” Scott said. Pierce pointed to missing rivalries, saying, “I think it’s the lack of storylines where it’s a rivalry.” He added the league no longer has “the drama of the rivalry with players anymore.”
