Paul Pierce Says Lakers Fans Never Embraced Him in Los Angeles

Pierce said when he played for Clippers, LA fans “didn’t embrace me,” despite growing up there. He said people “couldn’t stand me” and added, “The Lakers is a gang. It’s like you got Bloods, Crips, and Laker gang.” Pierce said he moved to Vegas in 2008, after the Celtics beat the Lakers in the NBA Finals, to avoid Lakers fans.
