Pelicans Eye James Borrego and Kevin Ollie to Fill Head Coaching Role

Having fired Willie Green, the Pelicans have hired James Borrego as the Interim HC. Ian Begley reported that the Pelicans are considering Borrego for the full-time role. Borrego is familiar with the Pelicans system, having served as Associate HC between 2023-2025. They are also considering former UConn HC Kevin Ollie, who last served as the Nets' Interim HC in 2024.
