Pete Crow-Armstrong Deal Details Show Rare Cubs Bet

Jon Heyman reported Crow-Armstrong’s six-year, $115 million extension begins in 2027 and runs through 2032, buying out two free-agent years with no options. Escalators could push it to $133 million, plus an assignment bonus if traded. Heyman added it is a top-three guarantee without control past age 30 and the largest no-option deal ever signed with five years remaining.
