PGMO Admits Man United's Second Goal Against Nottingham Forest Should Not Have Stood
PGMO chief Howard Webb spoke to Nottingham Forest and Manchester United on Monday to admit Matheus Cunha's second goal in Sunday's 3-2 United win should not have been given, per Sky Sports. Referee Salisbury had been sent to the pitchside monitor after Mbeumo's arm deflected the ball in the build-up, but overruled VAR and allowed the goal to stand.
