Philip Rivers Could Become NFL’s Third-Oldest Starting QB

Rivers signed with the Colts’ practice squad a day after turning 44. Now he could become the NFL’s third-oldest starting quarterback ever. Only Tom Brady (45) and Steve DeBerg (44 years, 279 days) rank older. If Rivers starts Week 18, he’ll be 44 years, 27 days, surpassing Vinny Testaverde for the No. 3 spot in league history.
