Pirelli Plans 2026 C6 Fix After Max Verstappen Critique

After Verstappen said “leave that tire at home,” in Azerbaijan, Pirelli boss Mario Isola said C6 won’t return in 2025 and will be reworked for 2026. Citing graining and low mechanical resistance, especially in cold, Pirelli dropped C6 for Singapore and Las Vegas. Isola added it was still “a couple tenths” quicker than C5 but “peaky,” promising wider C5–C6 delta.
