Pistons Forced Lakers To Sign Austin Raves To His Long-Term Deal
Reaves declined his $14.9 million player option this summer in hopes of a long-term, max deal. The Detroit Pistons reportedly were very interested and wanted to sign Reaves to a max contract. This forced the lakers to offer him his 4-year/$185 million deal that he accepted and signed. Detroit is still looking for an offensive creator alongside Cade Cunningham.
