The Fever signed Hines-Allen after her season with the Dallas Wings where she averaged 7.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 40 games. When asked about why she pivoted to Indiana, she said, "I have the opportunity to play with one of the greatest players that’s ever going to play the game of basketball," in regards to Caitlin Clark.

Since being placed under concussion protocol after his Game 2 head injury, he's participated in cardio work, according to Shams. His symptoms also haven't worsened. "He is hopeful that he'll be able to travel with the team to Portland on Thursday," said Shams, claiming his availability for Game 3 is in "obvious question and jeopardy".
