During Game 1's national anthem, Wemby crossed his arms. He was criticized for this and President Donald Trump was asked about this prior to Game 2. "What did he mean by that?" questioned Trump to reporters. The Frenchman has been very vocal about his left-leaning politics. During Game 2's national anthem, Wemby switched it up and began praying, hands clasped.
