Raiders Set To Release Geno Smith
Per Adam Schefter, the Raiders are set to release QB Geno Smith barring a trade. The decision comes after Smith's subpar 2025 season, where he led the NFL with 17 interceptions. The Raiders, who signed him to a lucrative two-year, $75 million extension through 2027 will be cutting him after just a year. Releasing Smith before March 13, 2026, would save the team $8 million in cap space while leaving an $18.5 million dead cap hit.

Cowboys Make a Bold Offer to Get Maxx Crosby from the Raiders
In the proposed deal, Dallas would send defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa, their 2026 first-round pick (No. 12 overall), and a 2027 second-rounder to Vegas. While the Raiders have yet to respond, the move signals Dallas’s aggressive "all-in" commitment to pairing Crosby with Micah Parsons. Crosby is currently recovering from a torn labrum in his left shoulder and is expected to be fully cleared by late May.
