Ralphie VII to Debut as Colorado’s New Live Mascot

Colorado will unveil Ralphie VII when the Buffaloes host Wyoming on Sept. 20. The one-year-old, 700-pound bison was gifted by the Beauprez family and will replace Ember, Ralphie VI, who retired due to indifference to running. Ralphie’s run, a tradition since 1967, remains a central pride point for fans, students, and alumni at Folsom Field.
