Rams Picked Ty Simpson Fearing Cardinals, Jets Would Strike First
Los Angeles used No. 13 on Simpson because it saw a rare chance to land the class’ No. 2 QB without expecting a top 2027 pick. Peter Schrager said the Rams feared Arizona could trade down and grab him, while the Jets also loomed at No. 16. Rather than risk it, L.A. stayed put and secured Matthew Stafford’s potential successor.

Gabe Jacas Praises Patriots Culture and Coaching Staff
