Rece Davis Says He Regrets Heisman Vote for Diego Pavia

Davis said he regrets voting for Pavia after the Vanderbilt QB's post-Heisman outburst. Pavia finished 2nd to Fernando Mendoza, then posted “F-all the voters” before apologizing. “I didn’t feel like he owed the voters an apology,” Davis said, adding he appreciated the apology but reconsidered his vote. Pavia threw for 3,192 yards and accounted for 36 touchdowns in 2025.
