Reds DFA Lyon Richardson After 34-Game Bullpen Run

Cincinnati designated Richardson for assignment to clear a 40-man spot for Dane Myers, per MLB reporter Gordon Wittenmyer. It was the club’s second DFA of the day after Keegan Thompson. Richardson logged 34 relief outings in 2025 with a 4.54 ERA in 37 2/3 innings, plus a 17.4% K rate and 12.2% walk rate. The 2018 second-rounder missed 2022 after Tommy John surgery.
