Report: Bill Belichick Falls Short of First-Year Hall of Fame Votes

Belichick will have to wait. Per Seth Wickersham, the former Patriots head coach did not receive the required 40 of 50 votes for first-ballot induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Despite winning eight Super Bowls (6 as Patriots HC, 2 as Giants DC) and defining a dynasty in New England, Belichick fell short in his first year of eligibility.
