Report: Dominiq Ponder's Tesla Lost Control on a Curve, Struck a Guardrail

University of Colorado football player Dominiq A. Ponder, 23, died in a single-vehicle crash March 1 in Boulder County. State Patrol said his 2023 Tesla Model 3 lost control on a curve, struck a guardrail, hit a utility pole and caught fire after rolling down an embankment. Speed is suspected as a factor.
